A small jewel built in Lombard Romanesque style (12th century), located just over 2 km from Godiasco, in Valla Ardivestra in the municipality of Rocca Susella.
Fallen into a state of neglect in recent centuries, and even deconsecrated and used as a farmhouse, it was restored during the twentieth century and brought back to its original structure. The façade and counter-façade are decorated with alternating bands of sandstone and bricks, the portal and capitals have bas-reliefs in sandstone from the Oltrepo quarries, unfortunately deteriorated due to atmospheric agents.
San Zaccaria is an oriented church, with a structure with three naves marked by pillars of various sections, and with two apses (a minor one at the end of the northern nave and a major one in the central one), while the triumphal arch is modern. A part of the southern nave was rebuilt during the 20th century restoration, covered by a roof.
