The St. Trinitatis Church Wiesa

is a unique jewel of Saxon Art Nouveau in the Upper Ore Mountains. she
was built in 1903/04 on the site of the old, dilapidated village church
by the architects Gräbner and Schilling from Dresden with local people
Craftsmen erected. Best artists of that time, e.g. the painter Perks and the
Sculptors Höfer were brought in. Art Nouveau quotes impressive
Wise Byzantine church architecture, Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance.
The church sits enthroned like a fortress on a rock high above the Zschopau
over the Erzgebirge village. When you get closer you notice the playful one
