The Bremerhof has been more than 200 years old, and today it is considered one of the most beautiful places in the Palatinate Forest. Already in the 50s and 60s, the beer garden as part of the urban cultural scene Kaiserslautern has made history. So there was, for example, here the well-known dance and music events. Recommended.

Due to its location in the heart of the Palatinate, the Bremerhof is a popular and worthwhile excursion destination. It is located south of the city of Kaiserslautern and can be reached on foot or by car. The Bremerhof lies between the great Humberg and the great Letzberg like an island between the forest in the valley. It was mentioned in a document as early as 1215. Beautiful and enjoyable hikes are possible from here. A visit offers cosiness and relaxation,

Between 1152 and 1158, the Hohenstaufen King Friedrich I "Barbarossa" had a castle built on a rocky plateau near the Lauter. A farm on the fertile loess hill in the middle of the otherwise unproductive red sandstone area covered only with forest was probably a gift from Emperor "Barbarossa" to the Premonstratensians of the nearby court. This is how the Bremerhof became a farm. The first entry was in 1215. Today you can eat and drink very well in the Bremerhof as well as in the large beer garden.

My recommendation: Arrive in the morning and park, hike, and then enjoy the delicacies at the Bremerhof. Opening hours and menu: humberg-kaiserslautern.de (You can also stay overnight here.)

It's a really nice place to sit. The quality of the food is so mediocre, the prices are too expensive. A political statement about the federal government printed on the menu of a tourist restaurant is completely unacceptable.

Very nice beer garden with good food.
We stayed overnight here and used the Bermerhof as a base for our hike. The breakfast was also delicious, and the staff made a lot of effort.
