Unfortunately you have to walk down something else to get to this path. You shouldn't be put off by the first blackberry tendrils, then the way is free. It is not that easy, it is quite stony and one or the other fallen tree has to be climbed over, but it offers a fantastic view of Reichenstein Castle and is anything but highly frequented. However, I advise against the following branch to the left, it runs into nowhere and either you turn around to continue on the original path or you climb the steep slope up to the path with difficulty.
