Cycling is still prohibited and that's a good thing. The paths are too narrow and the proximity to residential areas too short, there would inevitably be stress between pedestrians and cyclists

Where is the best view of Augsburg and the surrounding area? On the open since the end of 2016 recreational area on the garbage mountain Augsburg, which rises 55 m high and in good weather, the longing for at least a little quays.

There are two - each secured by a turnstile - accesses: one in the extension of the hunting trail in the Firnhaberau a small bridge over the highway and one on the Lech side just south of the Europaweihers in Gersthofen.

The accesses are open from 8 am to 4 pm during the winter months (October to March) and from 8 am to 6 pm from April to September. After that you can still out but not into it.

Bicycling is forbidden - therefore probably the hubs. A pity ... :-(
