The shelter of the ÖAV is managed from May to October and offers excellent food as well as a comfortable sleeping accommodation for all hikers who are planning something bigger. Pre-booking for overnight stays is of course welcome.

"The PES family-friendly hut is located on the edge of the Dürrenstein wilderness area at an altitude of 1,343 m and was built in 1923. The Dürrenstein massif has a diverse natural landscape, which is mainly characterized by karstification.
