A narrow path (the Komoot currently does not know) leads over the Bocchetta del Camoghè (2.242 m), in the slopes over the Lago Tom he runs partly in the soft white Piora chalk. The way across the Alpe di Lago is partly not easy to find, for a short while also weglos, some sense of orientation is required (T3).
From the top of the pass, a beautiful view over Val di Piora, the Gotthard road via Airolo and far into the Val Bedretto to the Nufenen pass with Blinnenhorn / Corno Gries.

Saddle between Camoghè and Pizzo Tom, not to be confused with the Passo del Camoghè further south. A marked mountain hiking trail leads from Lago di Tom (Val Piora) via the Bocchetta to Val Canaria, where it ends in the "Sentiero panoramico". Sugar-like dolomite appears on the pass, a crumbling rock that, under the name of Piora-Mulde, sparked debate during the construction of the Gotthard Base Tunnel.
