The Marstall in Winsen (Luhe) is the former ducal horse stable from the late 16th century. It is located in the center of town on Schlossplatz. Inside there is not only a museum on the history of the Elbmarsch with changing special exhibitions, cultural events also take place here on a regular basis.

In Winsen on the palace square in front of the old stables there is a bronze statue by the well-known Danish artist Arne Ranslet. Once upon a time, a young lad, with a golden goose under his arm, walked through this town. And other figures of the golden goose followed. Namely three young girls, a priest, a sexton and also two farmers. And this strange group is a sight to behold in this little town.
