Nice little hut, Self Service Restaurant, good views over Brisen and Haldigrat as well as surrounding mountains. Also the top station of the Haldigrat Chairlift.

one way ticket is 12fr, the chairlift owner strongly prefers the cash when you pay at the exit in Alpboden

When you get down to Alpboden, you have to take the chairlift yourself to the top without being waited on. It was funny that there was always only a small composition of chairlifts: 1x material, 2x two-seater chairs, 1x material. Then there is simply nothing more for about 10 minutes, until the next composition comes - and so on. Arriving at the top of the Haldigrat, there is a rather unmotivated older man in the little house, who, when asked: "Where can I pay?", first of all rebukes you in a masterly and unfriendly way and points out whether you can't actually read the sign "checkout"! All I can say is: Welcome to Switzerland! Well, then we went to the restaurant on the Haldigrat right next to the railway: It's very dark, and a very unpleasant "musty" smell greeted us. The young woman at the cash register (it's self-service) is very friendly and the very fresh almond croissants and coffee were very good. But we wouldn't have dared to eat something warm here. Sorry for the bad rating, I don't usually do that - but if I have to, I can't hold back. It would be unfair to the other hikers.
