    Too bad for the significant anthropization of the summit due to the weather station and the military base below.
    Magnificent view that reaches up to the Argentario on clear days.
    A must for hikers in the area.

          "The Mount Cimone (formerly Alpe de Nona) is the highest relief in the northern Apennines and the Emilia-Romagna region, with a height of 2,165 m above sea level, near the border with the Pistoiese mountains (Tuscany). It is part of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and, not being located on the ridge of the Apennine watershed, the summit and all the slopes of the mountain, which affect the municipalities of Fiumalbo, Sestola, Fanano, Riolunato and Montecreto, fall within the territory of the province of Modena."
