On the enchanting Ermelo heath you cycle through vast heathlands, forests and picturesque fens. This area of 343 hectares is an ideal place for cyclists and nature lovers. Here you can find a colorful collection of flora and fauna, including rare bird species such as the nightjar that have made their home here. The most beautiful time of the year is when the heather is in bloom. From mid-August to mid-September the area turns into a sea of pink flowers.
