The Delizia di Belriguardo was the summer palace of the Este court. Having been built in 1435 it is the first summer residence of a lordship in Europe. It is located in the territory of Voghiera, Provincial Road n. 274, about 15 km from Ferrara. It has also been called the Versailles of the Estensi. The building is the seat of the Civic Museum of Belriguardo which exhibits archaeological finds from the area, also dedicating Renaissance and modern art sections.
