Simply always nice along the Ruhr. Completely car-free and relaxed. It gets a little busier with walkers at the weekend, but it's a delight to drive around in the evening during the week.

Be careful in Kettwig after the railway bridge! Here the lane is divided into a pedestrian and a cycle path (marked with mandatory signs!) But there are a lot of cars driving over it ?? away, looking for parking! Sometimes dangerous situations! Two of us drove in a row in the last week and were both cleared away with a hit-and-run! My buddy then lay on the hood of a parked car, goddamn it, nothing happened except quite a shock. No witnesses, no law enforcement officers to see!
