In this hiking forest of about 10 hectares it is always pleasant to walk. Ideal starting point. There is a spacious parking lot. Also accessible by public transport, from train station Lier bus 151 direction Herenthout, stop Herenthout Prinsenhoek.

A beautiful piece of nature that starts at the Kruiskenberg. Taking the Stations of the Cross may contribute to a happy ending ... This place has something ... Close to this pious location is also a play forest with several benches and a possibility for a picnic. Further along this trail you can greet Erica in all her splendor at the right time of the year. Want to relax at the nearby fen at the chalet ... that's all possible here. Then a wooden path takes you back to the waterfront. You survived this Highlight again.

According to a legend, in the 13th century a shepherd was healed here after drinking from a well. To commemorate this, a chapel and a wayside cross were built.
