The Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău is a diocese of the Romanian Orthodox Church, based in Roman, with canonical jurisdiction in Neamț County and in Bacău County, which is part of the Metropolitan Church of Moldova and Bucovina.
In the whole of the Romanian historical and cultural-artistic patrimony, the Archdiocese of Roman and Bacău occupies a special place, imposing itself through an existence as long as rich in events and contributing to the affirmation of the city as an important economic, political and Orthodox faith in the eastern Carpathians.
