The Irrscheldal, in which the Tringensteiner Scheldt flows, is a narrow valley running parallel to the larger Scheldt with a total extension of 85 hectares from the Sternhäuschen (Wallenfelser Bahnhof) to Oberscheld.

At the highest point of the Schelde-Lahn-Strasse, the watershed between Schelde and Gansbach, a country road branches off towards Tringenstein and about halfway there is the "Sternhäuschen" or "Wallenfelser Bahnhof" at a parking lot on the left. Source: Wikipedia

In the gently rising Irrschelde valley you always have the opportunity to completely immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. At first I was accompanied by a raccoon for several meters.
