As with any trip to Death Valley, the temperature is a always an important factor. But keep in mind that if you do ride up to Dante's View, or any other part of the park, that there is rarely ever any shade. No trees or cloud cover. So the temperature readings you get from checking a weather app are not entirely indicative of what the conditions will be when you ride there. It will feel hotter on the asphalt and in direct sunlight. Choose your time of year accordingly.
