    The mill oak has a circumference of approx. 6.60m and is approx. 500 years old. It didn't grow that tall because it probably always had enough light, so it didn't have to stretch up. According to experts, the oak would have good substance. The name comes from the "In der Muhl" in which it is located. The locals call them Muhlääsch. It is definitely worth seeing.

          🌳 It is considered the oldest oak tree in the Kusel district – the legendary "Mühleiche" (Mill Oak) near Börsborn. With a trunk circumference of over 6.60 meters, it towers over generations of hikers. Once a landmark, today a natural monument. Its shape even adorns the municipality's coat of arms.

          📍 Tip: 🌳 Read the plaque and sit on the bench next to it – this tree tells stories without saying a word.
