The parish church of St. Marien in Seelow, which was built in 1630, was rebuilt by KF Schinkel in 1830/32 after a fire. The church was destroyed on April 1, 1945. In 1956 it was rebuilt without a tower. With the support of a support association, the tower was rebuilt in 2002 for Seelow's 750th anniversary.
