So I would not call it rainforest.
The path is very well developed to the waterfall.
You do not have to go with the Penton, 300 m further on the "Stepping Stones" over the river.
Walking alone is not recommended but should be ok. We all felt safe. Is a popular way and very busy.
Entrance fee for the national park: approx. 150 ZAR pp

Beautiful trail with boardwalk pathway through indigenous forrest.
It’s necessary to check out if you’re in Wilderness. Should not be done alone, best in groups of 3/4+
