Smaller beach in Puerto with black sand (bigger beach is called Playa Jardin). Sunrise and moonrise behind the mountains are worth watching here. Good for sun bathing, reading, surf watching. Surf is very crowded, those who want to surf here are recommended to join surf school for safety reasons. If you want to have a drink with a view, La Coronela is your place. If you want a coffee with breakfast, I recommend Calipso.

Nice beach for sunbathing. Going into the water to swim is difficult, as there are large stones at the water's edge and the waves and surf (which are almost always on the north coast) make it difficult to get into the water, or you can easily injure yourself.
