The Vennbahnweg is a cross-border long-distance cycle route between Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg of approx. 130km.
It is the longest cross-border, contiguous cycle and hiking trail in Europe on disused railway lines.
The signage is excellent.
It goes from Aachen in Germany to Troisvierges in Luxembourg. You drive through the Eifel and foothills of the Belgian Ardennes, mostly with a slight incline, mostly a very good route quality and rare interruptions.
You get to see a lot and can enjoy a lot of nature.
I already drove the Vennbahnweg back and forth, it was really worth it this multi-day tour to companies.
At the weekend, more traffic is expected, especially in the Aachen area, consideration is then required.
