The Santi Pietro e Andrea di Novalesa abbey is a Benedictine monastery founded in 726. It still houses a Benedictine monastic community of the Sublacense Cassinese Congregation.

The abbey also hosts a museum on the finds found, on the history of the monks and on the restoration techniques of ancient books relating to the laboratory of the monks of the abbey. Of notable interest are the frescoes in the 12th century chapel of San Eldrardo which can only be seen with a guided tour.
