The island can now look back on around 100 years of flight history. 100 years in which the North Sea spa has become an attractive destination for air sports. For example, parachutists or ultralight planes regularly take off from here. For other pilots the airfield Norderney is the starting point for discovery flights over the Wadden Sea National Park.
