A pool of North Sea water, which is first filtered through 3 chambers.

Water is always there, no low tide. Sandy beach made of river sand is great for building castles.

There are beach chairs and loungers for rent (e.g. we had 2 loungers, one costs €5/day). Admission for one day costs €12 as a family ticket. If you want to go out in between, you get a wristband. Very convenient for us, as we were right next door on the campsite. I was able to do a bike ride in between and refresh myself afterwards.

There is also a kiosk/snack bar, SUPs, pedal boats and canoes for hire, a nice mud playground in the non-swimmer area, a pontoon made of floats (you can jump in) and a floating trampoline... and changing rooms, toilets, lifeguards from the DLRG and others rescue tower also has a swimming wheelchair.

In short: Everything is there to spend a hot summer day well. In my opinion, the prices are very, very reasonable/cheap.
