Springpfuhl takes its name from the large and small Springpfuhl, both standing bodies of water in a pretty park, the Springpfuhlpark. Springpfuhl is also the name of an S-Bahn station - trains on lines S7 and S75 run here every ten minutes during the day. In the middle of the neighborhood stands the Old Marzahn Town Hall - it was opened in January 1989 and is already a listed building.
