The Wildhorn is a majestic, yet uncrowded peak on the border between the cantons of Bern and Valais. At 3,248 meters, it offers an impressive panorama of the Valais 4,000-meter peaks, the Bernese Oberland, and as far as the Fribourg region.

🔹 Most popular approach: from the Wildhorn Hut (SAC) (2,303 meters) via the Château Blanc Glacier
🔹 Alternative routes: from the Gelten Hut (SAC) or Iffigenalp (longer & more challenging)
🔹 Glacier equipment required – high-altitude tour!
