In the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg is the wine-growing community Perl. The landscape and views range from the Moselle with its vine-covered runs to the vast fields of the Saargau, rolling hills, colorful orchards and quiet forests. A great view into the border triangle!

The German section of the Way of St. James ends at the border triangle in Perl, if you come from Cologne (including via Prüm, Echternach and Trier) on a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. And - despite the Schengen Agreement with freedom of travel and the abolition of border controls - the pilgrim's pass is still an important document on the way :-)
