The view over Alcudia and into the surrounding valley is incredible from atop the Puig de Sant Marti. The peak can only be reached on foot, though a super smooth asphalt road leads up to the foot of a beautiful hiking trail barely ten minutes from the summit. It's the perfect view point on clear days, though it's probably better avoided in the rain!

Puig de Sant Martí is a 247-meter-high, steep limestone hill in the Sierra de l'Albufera. Its slopes are primarily covered with oaks, palms, and broom, and are home to a rich variety of birdlife (including nightingales, tits, wrens, thrushes, and robins). A shrine is located in a cave that has been used since Roman times. From the summit, there is a beautiful view of the town of Alcúdia and the surrounding area.

It can be a little tricky to get to. Good shoes are a must, and you're not going to want to attempt this one in the rain. The short climb is worth it at the end, though.

The view makes up for the exertion up there. The path down in the forest is nicely shaded, the actual ascent is paved and a bit steep, but with patience it can be easily mastered.
