The Sint-Elisabethsmolen was a watermill on the Leubeek that belonged to the Sint-Elisabethsdal monastery. All that remains of this mill is a ruin. The oldest mention of the mill dates back to 1278. At that time, Lord von Horn gave the monastery permission to demolish the Roggel watermill on the Roggelse Beek and rebuild it near the monastery. The mill was owned by the monastery, but had to pay tribute to the lord for using it. It was a forced mill and in 1416 it was decreed again that the entire village of Roggel had to be ground in this mill. The authenticity of this document was later questioned: the farmers preferred to grind on the Leumolen. In 1796 the French dissolved the monastery and confiscated and sold the mill. In 1840 it was replaced by a stone mill larger than the Leumolen. It served as a grain mill, sawmill and oil mill. In 1844 a fire broke out in the mill, but the mill was rebuilt. When the German troops left in 1944, ammunition was still stored in the mill. This was destroyed by the withdrawing soldiers and the mill. A ruin remained. In 2014 the renovation of this mill began. Starting from the ruins, a modern superstructure was built, into which a large, modern water wheel was installed in 2015.
