Wonderful hut with seating for a long rest. Trash cans and a fire pit or grill for the summer. Those who rent the hut can even get the key for the toilet.
What more do you want.

You can drive here from Eimsen on a steep gravel path with a car park for hikers.
From the beautiful Ausducht hut to the south-east towards Langer Grind. A short detour to the Himmelberg observation tower is recommended. Many early bloomers on the southern slope of the Langenholzner Ortsberg.

Archetype of a hiking shelter, very spacious, with a brick barbecue and fireplace. There are also beautiful views of the meadows to the east towards the Sack. The hut was built in 1915 through donations from the Adami family and the Alfeld manufacturers, Meer and Benscheidt. In 1979 the hut was renovated and burned down in July 1986. The current construction goes back to the reconstruction in 1987.
