The waterfall is easily accessible, we couldn't understand why everything is blocked off by cow fences.
Please pay attention to the signs and do not climb outside the specified paths.

We started from the Rottach dam, the route was almost entirely on the road, but the spectacular view of this amazing natural spectacle is breathtaking. And a must in winter with snow+ice+sun [see photos].

The descent to the waterfall is "blocked" by a turnstile; if you are travelling with a stroller, like we were, you have to lift it over it. Then there is a fairly rooty path that can only be overcome by all-terrain models, or you have to carry the vehicle here too.
