Ingershøj is a living room with 3 chambers, approx. 5000-5300 years old.
The hill is named after a girl who disappeared without trace in this place. One day when she walked through the woods to milk some cows, she had a rye bread. Inger put the rye bread in a water puddle at the height to overcome it, but suddenly she disappeared into the ground and no one has seen her again. The high is situated on Vestre Ringvej in the southwest corner of the forest. A little southeast of Thehøjene are two other burial mounds. (source: udinaturen.dk/facilitet/ingersh%C3%B8j/13281)
At the hill stands a beech tree with many names cut into the bark of the tree.
