MacDonald Trail leads roughly North-South from the southern end of Redwood Regional Park along the center spine of Anthony Chabot Regional Park, a regional park in Oakland, California. It covers 5,067 acres in the San Leandro Hills adjacent to Oakland, San Leandro and Castro Valley. Brutal climb when coming from the Redwood park. After that beautiful trail and nice view. Saw a coyote here.
