The garden house stands in the garden of a former princely bailiff and was built in 1700. Having gradually fallen into ruin, it was rebuilt in 1977 on the initiative of the city administration and with financial support from the Office for Monument Preservation and thus became the jewel of the city of Forchtenberg. In the summer months it is used for civil weddings and for representation purposes.

"Tea house, a truly urban gem is the delightful garden house in the official garden of a former princely bailiff. The garden house was built around 1700 under bailiff Wibel. Gradually decayed into ruins, it became a ruin on the initiative of the city administration and with financial support from the office for monument preservation in 1977." It became the jewel of our town by the restorer Eckert from Mergentheim. Since this restoration it has been used for civil weddings and for representation purposes in the summer months.
