The Valdalsbygget Trail, approximately 14 km long, passes this former dairy. It's a lovely rest area. The old Valdalsbygget mountain farm is located right on the Norwegian border. In the 1830s, the Norwegian Per Perssen Lillebo and his wife Dordi moved here.

Valdalsbygget, near the Norwegian border, was once a dairy. Today, it's a popular destination for hikers, as a small farm operates here during the summer months. The garden nestled among the gray cottages, surrounded by forest and marshland, is a lovely place to relax. Refreshments and freshly baked waffles are available during opening hours – highly recommended!
