Concrete climb with some loose stones now and then. During the climb from Castle Altembrouck you have little trouble with that ... it is during a descent when you have to take this into account. The climb is nice and long and also crosses the border with the Netherlands and Belgium.

cement poured with many loose stones. Looks like gravel, but it isn't. Cycling up in the heat, nice and cool, between the trees. On top of this you can expect a wonderful descent towards Noorbeek or Mheer!

Better to drive than climb (south to north) because the asphalt is quite bad for a descent. Otherwise a gem on the street :)
