Since its construction in the 12th century, the town tower in Windsbach served as a watchtower. The Turmbläser should warn the population of approaching troops or fires. The tower was inhabited for a long time and was lovingly restored after the departure of the last family by the club Altstadtfreunde "The Kestrels". On market Sundays and also by telephone reservation you can visit the former living rooms and climb up to the tower.
