    Case di Viso is an alpine village at high altitude in the Viso Valley, in the municipality of Ponte di Legno, a tourist destination, especially known for the houses that keep their original architecture unchanged.

      Val di Viso is beautiful, deserted in the low season (June). The parking spaces at the entrance to the village give a lot of clues. The driveway to Montozzoscharte is very easy to drive up.

          Case di Viso is a historic mountain farming village. Really a picturesque spot, it is constantly expected that Heidi comes around the corner. For the Italians this is a very popular destination and definitely worth a photo stop. And in the bar Ercavallo you can prepare yourself with an espresso for the upcoming climb to the Montozzoscharte.

                            At approximately 1750 s.l.m. you reach the ancient alpine village of Case di Viso: here the place is breathtaking.
                            A set of stone houses, with an unchanged original architecture, grafted like mushrooms into a glacial basin from where, into the intense green of the pastures, a web of flowing rivulets white as milk descends.
                            The only sore point is that cars can access up to here, even parking upstream from the town.
