A mystical place considering that the Anabaptists, persecuted by the authorities, met secretly here in the 16th century. If they were discovered doing so, they could face the death penalty or at least be expelled from the country.

As already described above, they gathered here in the 16th century, but also later people to offer God. Because of the persecution they have endured, they have secretly gathered here and held services. Even this big rock in Mitte looks like a semi-circular lectern.
