Dalkey is located in the south of Dublin and is easily accessible by train (DART). Dalkey used to be called the “City of Seven Castles”. However, only two of these remain. Both are on the main street of the pretty town. The place has a Mediterranean flair. We also found a fish restaurant here with the bizarre name “Guinea Pig”.

Hollywood star Matt Damon even spent three months in Dalkey because he couldn't go home because of Corona (it was written on a board at the train station).
