The church "Santuario de Santa María Magdalena" is considered a very unique and outstanding work within the Valencian modernism. It is no coincidence that it bears a certain resemblance to the Sagrada Familia Antonio Gaudís in Barcelona. José Sala Sala, the architect of the pilgrimage church, was clearly inspired by the world-famous building by Antonio Gaudí.
