In the course of the county road 32 east of the ruins in Polle a yaw ferry operated. The Weser ferry operates between the village of Polle and the district of Heidbrink. The ferry service was started in 1905. Owner of the ferry has been the district of Holzminden since 1994. The ferry is leased in the 4th generation by the Winter family. The technical entertainment is provided by the district of Holzminden.
