The center of the Neustadt/Neuwerk district is the mighty Paradeplatz.

From here the streets lead away in a fan-shaped and orderly manner.

Nothing is left to chance - not even the street names, which are based on the seating arrangement at the royal table.

Königstrasse is in the middle, Queenstrasse, Prinzenstrasse, Kronprinzen and Prinzessinstrasse to the right.

Opposite are Herren-, Baron-, Grafen-, Ritter- and Elefantenstraße (for the bearers of the Order of the Elephant). The streets of roses, lilies and tulips stand for the ornaments on the king's table.
