The natural monument Stiefeler Felsen is a unique red sandstone rock, whose shape resembles an upside down boot. Next to the Stiefeler Felsen is the Teufelsfels, a three meter high pentagonal monolith.

The boot rock near St. Ingbert (boots, formerly Styffel) is a Saarland cultural monument. The sandstone rock was probably formed by the influence of the weather. It stands on a mountain plateau at an altitude of about 350 meters.

The mountain is completely forested, the boot rock can only be seen if you stand directly in front of it.

It was created in ancient times and has been visited and admired by people for thousands of years. The rock itself and the place where it stands are surrounded by a palpable mystery.

Between the Tiefenltsbach valley and the Wogbach valley north of the Ensheim airport lies the memorial cemetery on the Triebenberg in the middle of the Saarbrücken city forest. In summer it is a popular destination. The cemetery commemorates 56 German soldiers who died there in an air raid in March 1945. A birch avenue leads from the hiking trail to the small forest clearing on the hill. In a rectangle enclosed by a yew hedge, there are several rows of graves with 56 small gravestones on which the names and origins of the soldiers are engraved. They came from all over Germany and Austria.
The rows of graves are demarcated with ferns and bordered at the corners with evergreen ground covers. The grave surfaces are covered with colorful alternating pile, the paths are covered with red boiler ash. The altar, at the highest point of the cemetery, is surrounded with hydrangeas and columnar yews. Benches invite you to linger. The facility is maintained by the association of 'Brunnenfreunde im Ensheimer Tal'."
