    Halfway between Bad Elster and the train station in Mühlhausen, this hut for hikers was built in 1893. The hut is the first work by Paul Schindel and largely preserved in its original condition. In 2018, the refuge was extensively renovated by the Sachsenforst, wooden pillars were put on, the roof was renewed and much more. The inscription "Wanderersruh" on the gable side made from small logs is very beautiful. Many thanks to the Sachsenforst!
