They say Hütte, but it is a beautiful forest restaurant that is run and maintained by the Palatinate Forest Association of the Rodalben local group. For lazy and older visitors there is a car ride to the cottage. Overnight accommodation is also available. The rooms in the newly built tower room are particularly beautiful.

Great places to stay. Clean shared rooms.
There are six double rooms in the newly built tower. Mine means you're in the hotel. All handicapped accessible.

A great stop and overnight stay for hikers. Clean, modern rooms at a fair price. The best Saumagen from the Palatinate region that I know is made in the economy. Definitely try the scrambled eggs for breakfast.

The Hilschberghaus of the Palatinate Forest Association above Rodalben was opened in 1980. The striking residential tower was added between 2015 and 2019.
The long-distance hiking trail Palatinate Forest Trail and the Rodalber Felsenwanderweg lead directly past.

The Hilschberghaus is a great place to rest or stay overnight. The PWV-Hilschberghaus is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest Nature Park and above the Fichtenstrasse. We had a delicious and hearty pea soup and a tarte flambée at reasonable prices. We can only recommend it.
