The oldest architectural monument of the Lower Saxon half-timbered style in Osterwieck from 1533. It was originally the seat of the episcopal city governor and after 1648 belonged to the King of Prussia, from whom Franz Victor von Uslar bought it in 1713. The building is notable for its massive substructure. The half-timbered construction resting on it shows the rosettes characteristic of this period on the triangular structure above the threshold for the first time in Osterwieck.
