The bike path starts in Molina in Val di Fiemme, in the parking lot at the Avisio, and is the direct continuation of the MTB cycle route Vecia Ferovia, which leads from Auer in South Tyrol via the pass of San Lugano through the Predaiatal to Molina. Unlike the "Vecia Ferovia" route, the cycle path in the Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa is paved and suitable for all types of bicycles. On the approximately 40 km long route about 550 meters in altitude are overcome. Passing the Avisio, you will pass Masi di Cavalese, Lago di Tesero and Roda di Ziano. The main areas of this section of the valley, Cavalese and Tesero, are not directly on the route - but who wants to visit them must expect more altitude because they are diagonally on the sunny slope. After about 15 km we reach the town of Predazzo, which lies below the Latemar and from which also the road branches off to Rollepass.
However, the cycle path continues in another direction, namely the Fassa Valley. There are quite a few relevant slopes on this section until we reach Moena via Forno. Soraga, the next village on the route, is located on a lake formed by the damming waters of the Avisio. We have now already 30 km behind us, and can see well-known Dolomite peaks: Rosengarten, Plattkofel and Sella. The bike path continues through meadows and woods, past the villages of Vigo and Pozza di Fassa until reaching Mazzin and Campitello. Soon the last missing section will be extended to Alba di Canazei.
