This village of Pilles, on the edge of the river and close to a very beautiful geological formation in limestone strata, has a crazy charm. Due to its position on the road to the Alps, the town has been known since antiquity as an inevitable place of passage. The modern bridge in front of you unfortunately replaces the old bridge blown up by mistake at the end of the Second World War.
